Baule - Decima etapa - escalers, puertas, pandillas

MaVacheaMoi

Ma Vache à Moi . Mi vaca es mia - my cow is mine

I do not know if this entry will help explain the recent political events in Switzerland. But when you click on the hypelink below you may get closer to the complex roots of rural conservatism. Political ideology is after all an expression of one's imagerie.....ma vache à moi.

Do not forget to put the sound on when looking at the web site below.

Lausanne running

Today took place the rendez-vous at the Lausanne Marathon (modestly, a half-marathon for this living protoplasm). Two novelties: Nicolas running his 4k; Contravoz chasing a yellow balloon that marked 1:45. Amazing loss of power at 19k, that saw the yellow ballon float away to gain 1:30 min. Great day.

Cinque Terre

Three days to walk and eat pizza in Cinque Terre. I wonder why we did not know about this before. No cars, vertiginous trails, and back to summer days..
Arrival to Vernazza from Trail #2.

Miracles@Duke

Do miracles occur more than once?
Are repetitive miracles still considered miraculous?
Are chance and miracle interchangeable terms?
Are there statistical interactions between luck and miracle?

With these and other solemn thoughts I've spent three days in my American exile....again. And in an effort to fix these moments to a tangible vehicle of memory, I adventure myself to publish this "road film" with the newly discovered music of Yehuda Poliker "Hurts but Less".

Enjoy the timbre of Hebrew lyrics, as much as it was enjoyed every morning on the way to work at Duke (if work is what we actually do .....).
