From urban to bush. (i) The encounter with the lions at Kruger, (ii) Elvis the tracker searching for eyes in the night bush, (iii) the Lilac breasted roller . the Carraca.

From the very top of Lion's head, we see (i) a rock an a whale....we sow the whale because we beleived the rock was one. We also see (ii) Robben Island behind the very free Contravocita. And also on the top (iii) the bird of the day: Familiar Chat.

We rarely associate Africa to urban life. It is there with the (i) shipyards repairing and giving life back to the African Queen, (ii) the street performers, and (iii the humble house sparrow in its local version: the Cape Sparrow.

Just some 100 km from Cape and we hit wilderness. Kogelberg reserve to Cape Hangklip.

South Africa - 3 photos a day




Vertical descent along the meridian. And the next few days I will hope to pin up three photos that capture the moments. (i) Flying to Cape, (ii) walking towards the end of Africa, (iii) The local fellow (Red-winged starling).
